This weekend is all about colour and pride here in SF, but lately, I’ve been drawn to working in black and white a lot. I’m enjoying seeing life in contrasts.
Last weekend’s Midnites for Maniacs was an evening devoted to the work of French director Jean-Pierre Jeunet. I’d not heard his name prior to last week, but now I’m a big fan.
I’ve been home for a few months now and thoughts on my experience living in Chicago have had time to crystallise. As they took shape, I found I was inspired to make a short film — my first solo effort — and one I call ‘My Chicago’.
Here’s the next installment in our ‘Neon San Francisco’ series called ‘SFO’. It’s three minutes and fourteen seconds of love for one of our favourite airports in the world.
And sometimes, you just want to preserve the little moments of joy, to bottle them up, label them and say, “Remember when that happened? That was so awesome!”. Little victories like that don’t come along often, so it’s important to appreciate them when they do.
We always have some sort of project in the works. The latest of these is our new short film called ‘Neon San Francisco: the N Judah’.
